A local favorite offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an outdoor, natural setting. Tip: The Wine Bar, Espresso Bar, and Sandwich Stand are also great options if you are on the go. Open from 8AM to 8PM daily.
Cavalier Coastal Kitchen
An oceanfront restaurant serving a diverse menu to fit a variety of tastes, ranging from seafood to pasta. Open from 7AM to 9PM daily.
Cambria Cafe
A casual restaurant serving traditional Mediterranean cuisine, serving classics like hummus, kebab, and shawarma. Open from 11AM to 9PM daily.
Linn's Restaurant
A beloved hub for American country-style fare and bakery goods. Tip: Be sure to try the Olallieberry pie—a local specialty! Open from 8AM to 9PM daily.
Wild Coast Restaurant and The Lodge Restaurant
An oceanside fine dining spot offering a quaint space that accommodates only 8 guests per seating. Colocated is The Lodge Restaurant which offers a chef’s four-course dinner menu. Advance reservation is required for both restaurants.
Indigo Moon
A full-service restaurant that also has an adjacent wine cheese shop. Open from 4:30PM to 9PM, Thursday-Sunday; closed on Monday. Advanced reservations are ideal.
Madeline's Restaurant & Wine Cellar
An intimate restaurant featuring an American and French-inspired menu. Madeline's patio is also pet-friendly so feel free to bring your furry friend along with you. Open for lunch from 11:30AM to 3PM and for dinner from 5PM to 9PM daily.
Attractions
Piedras Blancas Light Station
An iconic lighthouse with guided tours about stories of the keepers who once tended the light dating back to 1875. Visitation is by reservation only and tickets must be purchased in advance.
Hearst Castle
A 20th Century castle adorned with magnificent art, antique furnishings, and ornate tapestries. Admission is $30 for adults and $15 for children. Specialty tours have added fees. Please plan to arrive 25 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time.
MBNMS Coastal Discovery Center
An educational center with interactive exhibits about the ocean, hands-on activities, and captivating displays—best for kids. Check out the calendar online for more information about upcoming events and activities.
Cambria Pickleball
A pickleball court that's open and ready for some friendly competition and thrilling matches. For non-members, there's a drop-in fee of $3/person in the morning. Courts are open to the public for free in the afternoon.
Hearst Ranch Winery
A winery with a nice selection of handcrafted wines, ranging from robust reds to crisp whites. Advance reservation is required to visit the winery. Legacy flights are offered to all general visitors ($28 Tasting Fee – Waived with a 2-bottle purchase).
Cutruzzola Vineyards
A boutique winery offering a guided tasting experience of their handcrafted, small-batch wines. Advance reservation is required for wine tastings. Open from 11AM-5PM, Wednesday-Sunday.
Elephant Seal Vista Point
A rugged coastal stretch that serves as a sanctuary for northern elephant seals. Tip: Best time to see seals is late-November through early March as this is peak mating and birthing season.
Fiscalini Ranch Preserve and Moonstone Beach
A preserve that has a network of well-maintained trails. After hiking, head down to Moonstone Beach, which has an abundant supply of smooth, glistening moonstones scattered across the shore.
Salmon Creek Falls Trail
An easy, scenic trail that takes you to the breathtaking Salmon Creek Falls. Open year-round. Dogs are allowed on a leash.
